On January 22, Eastern Time, TikTok’s future has finally been confirmed.

ByteDance announced that it has reached a cooperation agreement with a consortium of non-Chinese investors led by Oracle to establish a new US - based TikTok joint venture.

This has also brought a tentative conclusion to the cross - border technological and political dispute that started in 2019.
